Hope for Israel During Coronavirus

​"My wife's parents, who live in Petah Tikvah, were recently in close contact with someone who testing positive for coronavirus. D., an 80-year-old woman living in Jerusalem, is in isolation due to her age and high-risk status if she becomes ill with the coronavirus. She regularly uses an oxygen device, but it was empty. According to D, anyone she contacted refused to help - out of fear of either becoming infected or of infecting her. She turned to Yad Sarah's Home Hospital service and connected with Rafael Gabai. Within two hours, he made sure that a volunteer team - properly protected - made the delivery, placing the equipment at her door. He then called to let her know that the equipment had arrived. During their phone call, D. expressed her heartfelt gratitude and excitement that the equipment had arrived so quickly.
