Yad Sarah is responding to the needs of individuals impacted by the Iranian attacks on Israel.
Supporting patients discharged from hospitals
As hospitals were required to quickly free up beds in preparation for an influx of patients, Israel's Ministry of Health turned to Yad Sarah to support discharged patients through home hospitalization equipment. In one day alone, Yad Sarah recorded a 35% increase in demand for equipment — including hospital beds, patient lifts, specialized recliners, and respiratory support devices — reflecting the rapid shift of care from hospitals into homes.
Delivering care to evacuees
When the devastating missile strike in Beit Shemesh destroyed homes and forced families to evacuate, Yad Sarah delivered medical and rehabilitative equipment directly to the hotels where evacuees were sheltering, so that patients could continue their recovery safely and with dignity.
Transportation and emotional support
Beyond the physical response, Yad Sarah transported isolated patients and individuals with disabilities to stay with family members, and outreach teams made proactive calls to seniors and people living alone — offering reassurance, encouragement, and a caring voice.
Expanding capacity for the days ahead
To meet the growing demand ahead, Yad Sarah has launched a significant procurement initiative for medical, rehabilitative, and delivery vehicle resources — expanding its capacity to reach more people, faster, during this critical moment for Israel.
