Equipment Repair Center
All medical and rehabilitative equipment in the Yad Sarah inventory is lent out to multiple clients over several years. The skilled volunteers at the Equipment Repair Workshop refurbish and extend the life of each wheelchair, oxygen concentrator, hospital bed and other pieces of equipment, stretching the value of every dollar that goes toward their purchase. Exhibition Center
The Guidance and Exhibition Center displays a variety of adaptive equipment that enables people with disabilities to function independently at home. Visitors can work with occupational therapists to learn about cutting-edge equipment and devices, and can test items to find out which will work most effectively for their individual needs. Emergency Alarm Center
At the Emergency Alarm Center, volunteers respond to emergency calls from homebound and elderly clients. The clients wear bracelets that connect them directly to the Call Center via a computerized phone system. The 19,000 subscribers across Israel who rely on this service and the life-saving assistance it provides, made over 107,000 calls last year. Learn how you can help >>
